A generous serving of flaked smoked mackerel combined with cream cheese and crème fraiche, finished with a hint of coriander leaf and lemon. Just perfect served on hot buttered toast.
Findlater’s started life as a restaurant and delicatessen in Linlithgow in 2004. In the delicatessen they sold handmade paté made in the restaurant kitchen which was such a success that they built a much bigger kitchen to cope with demand. The pates are still hand made in small batches, using equipment and methods you’d expect to see in a high quality restaurant kitchen. This enables them to deliver exceptional flavours and textures.
